The essential Zombie Soundsystem label continues to lead from the front here with a new EP from Refresh. Featuring two tantalising club cuts from the acclaimed Italian, it is another release that is sure to be heard on dance floors everywhere for months to come.
Stefano Zullino is Refresh, a young but talented producer who signed his first tracks aged just 17. Since then he has always impressed with his lush melodic sound on labels like Recycle Records and always goes deep when playing and making the house and techno he loves. Always looking for the right atmosphere and a clear and particular sound, he comes pretty close to perfection here.

Play The Game is the fantastic opener and is a truly spiritual late night affair with a starry sky full of rippling melodies stretched over deep and rubbery beats. The effect is trippy and cosmic and will have people dream whilst they dance. Zoned out vocals add to the feeling of freakiness and finish the track off in real style.
My Subconscious is then more direct and energetic, with a fat and frazzled bassline underpinning one spoken word vocals and smeared synths. Futuristic and operating out in the galaxy, it is the sort of atmospheric house that perfectly fits this on point label.
